11 OVERALL HIGH SCHOOL OUTSTANDING MUSICIANSHIP - $6,500  

Please note that Private/Club bands of HS musicians are now included in the HS Division. Students ages 12-18 are eligible for Outstanding Musicianship cash awards. Funded by private donors who specified the recipient criteria or from donor-established Endowment Funds, most are memorial scholarships designed to honor someone, others created by donors to inspire students to further their jazz education.

Our goal is to have a scholarship for every standard instrument in early jazz. At this time, we are in need of scholarship donors for the following instrument categories:  guitar, saxophone, string bass and tuba. These scholarships are a $500 cash award on each instrument.
